A special edition of our classic mead "Original" including a donation for our Buzzard "Alfarinn" and his friends at the Birds of Prey Aid.
The story of the Mead:
On January 5th, 2021, an injured buzzard hopped through our roller door. After we got quick advice from a falconer, we caught the injured buzzard and brought him straight to the bird of prey center in Brüggen - only about 30 minutes away from our company location. Metwabe decided to take over the costs incurred for treating our "visitor".
Unfortunately, the injuries - probably from a collision with a car - were so severe that the buzzard succumbed to them a few days later.
Affected by the large number of birds of prey brought into the station, we decided to sponsor another common buzzard.
You could suggest the name on Facebook and Instagram and choose it later. It won the name "Alfarinn" which means "the well-traveled".
